That last sentence didn't make any sense, because I literally passed out directly after typing it. I'll give anyone a monkey if they can translate it.
So, I just woke up, and I'm gonna eat yogurt soon with Joe. It rules, having roommates. It's like I'm a real person, with a family that was made by other moms and dads. It's an amazing experience.
So I'll just list what happened yesterday so I never forget.
The Craziest NYC Dreams Day:
1- Woke up at 8:30 to my boss calling me 20 times, realized my alarm clock didn't wake me up and that I was supposed to be in NYC at 8:00 for a job
2- I sped 60 MPH down River Road, through the Lincoln Tunnel, and NYC Streets.
3- I make it to the shoot only 1 hour late. I get to keep my job.
4- I shoot one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen:
6- Shoot Racer Steve & Princess Katie
7- Get hugged by two 6 year old fans after interviewing them about the concert
8- Call a boy a girl because he has long hair, which is a very awkward situation, until I disarmed it by saying, "Okay! That's even cooler! Tell Racer Steve and Princess Katie about your rockstar haircut!"
9- Shopping for food. I love buying food. I feel like a parent. Of myself.
10- Cleaned the apartment
11- Drove to Ikea with Matt and Joe and bought tons of fun stuff. A mug and a plant. It looks like a plant is growing out of my coffee. I love it.
12- Went to "Garden State Diner" and met the cutest mexican immigrant ever. Her name was Juliette, and she was 31 and married.
13- Met the most racist waiter ever. He made fun of the table next to us for calling "Men in Black" "Black Men".
14- On the way out, I told Juliette's 27 year old friend that I was going to buy her dinner next time I came in. She thought I was 25. Dummy.
15- Got stuck in traffic on the way home. Almost killed my roommates in transit.
16- Spruced up the apartment with Joe and Matt and it's so bedazzled now.
I feel alive. I am so happy here. I feel like I'm where I need to be right now in my life. Out of school and in the real world, doing what I love. Which turns out to be making things. Anything really. Videos, music, friends, couches, plants, sandwiches, jokes, art, cubicles, and good times.
Creation is a powerful thing.
I'm excited to read this in twenty years and reminisce and share all these wild stories with my grandchildren.
I just hope everything is hover craftin' so they'll be impressed that I took the bus to work everyday, on gas and on wheels.
Wahoo! Monday time!
I like pizza. I like you.
