If you were me, give me what you'd get.

I made a bar tender really mad at me by telling him that. He asked what I wanted to drink, but this is no McDonalds. This is no soda fountain. I told him I had no idea what he had and to give me what he'd get if he were in my shoes. I ended up with some gross, bitter, rusty brew. It was bad news. But I finished the whole cup, because it cost me $7 with a tip. I felt bad for the bartender so I gave him extra bucks.

Before that bar, I met up with a new friend I met on the internet. She's real fun. We got mexican food in this amazing street of drunk stockbrokers. The margaritas were out of this world. Unlike Mad for Mex, they were actually nearly solid in viscosity. Delicious black berry.

So yeah, fast forward, hanging out in a fun bar with The Booze, a rockin band from Atlanta. Amy's friends show up. It was tons of fun. Amy knows everyone in NYC.

The Booze went on and we danced like crazy. I sweat my entire body weight in that precious fourty-five minutes as The Booze rocked and rolled. My feet started burning during the second song, but I didn't stop. I made dance friends and all of them were wild.

Then I talked in a british accent all the way home. For an hour. In a cab. In a subway. In a bus. It was absolutely bonkers.

Work is amazing. They love my work for some reason and I have made a lot of interesting friends. I feel at home. I feel alive.

I dance in public. I say weird things. I'm finally being completely innapropriate and it feels right. I'm not taking anything for granted.

I miss family and Philly friends. But I'm having one amazing vacation.

Love and Lollipops,

Dylan R. Steinbug
