This is the first blog I've started since middle school, but unlike that one, you won't get to go through puberty with me. I won't share my insecurities about nocturnal emissions with you via this blog. Now it's just about NYC Dreams, Atlantic Records, New Clothes, New Ideas, Late Nights, Jazz Clubs, Love, Life, and Living.
This week I successfully completed my two years as an RA. I moved everything back home, only to find there was no room for anything.
I'm sleeping in the dining room on a comfy couch. I cleaned out the garage and will move my stuff in there for the length of my hiatus. Then, I will return from a victorious summer at Atlantic Records in NYC and move into the first house I've ever rented with my own money. There will be many milk shakes and bonfires. Pizza parties and underpants dances. I cannot wait to fly.
This Sunday I'll be driving to NYC to move into a cool apt. with a few friends in Edgewater, NJ. I will bring a few pairs of socks and my computer. The rest I'm leaving up to magic.
I'm going to buy a groovy camera to document my travails. I might even make a movie or two.
I look forward to three months of growth and unforgettable experiences. Three months of non-stop smiles and crocodiles. Three months to lift us up where we belong. Where eagles fly. On a mountain sky.
Cheers!
We had a screening at work today.
This is the movie I made with some help from fellow intern Dan.
